About Me

I approach college advising the same way I show up for my own children—with deep care, unwavering commitment, and a belief that every student deserves to feel seen, supported, and empowered. My process is personal and strategic, shaped by years of experience in sales, advocacy in founding a nonprofit, and building community through genuine connection. Parents often tell me I’m “priceless”—that I’ve changed the trajectory of their child’s life. These comments are the essence of who I am as a college counselor.

Finding the best educational and career fit by identifying individual strengths is not something I only apply to my students, but also towards my own life. Recognizing my aptitude for interpersonal skills, I received my B.A. in marketing at Kansas State University while being a member of the Alpha Chi Omega sorority, which led to a successful career in sales, where I held the position of national sales manager for the PGA Tour, among many other valuable experiences. These successes helped me guide both my children to their best fits, as my daughter, an NCAA athlete, graduated in 2025 from Colorado School of Mines with a degree in civil engineering, and will finish her master’s degree in structural engineering in May of 2026. During her time at Mines, she completed 3 summer internships at Black & Veatch and Lerch & Bates. My son currently is attending the University of San Francisco, where he is double majoring in entrepreneurship and marketing, and he plans to study abroad in Tokyo in spring of 2026. While working hard to help my children succeed, I found myself inspired to help encourage and support the lives of other children and lead them to success.

While I am grateful for my experiences at Kansas State University, I personally found my own college experience to be overwhelming due to the size of the school, which is why I am passionate about helping students find the place that truly fits their needs, not only academically, but also socially and financially. In order to provide my students with the best advice and strategies, I have toured over 60 college campuses, created connections with admissions counselors, and I attend college fairs regularly to stay updated on changes in the academic climate. I have worked with 45 students thus far, where I have succeeded in getting my students $70,000-$100,000 in merit aid over four years, even from waitlist offers, with some even exceeding $125,000. Furthermore, I have had the privilege of working with many transfer students to find their best fit and allow them to flourish on their new journeys. While monetary considerations are a very important part of the process, they never hold me back from finding the perfect fit for each and every student.
